Celebrities - LAP-BAND® success stories
It has been reported in National Press and TV that Fern Britton had a gastric
band (Lap Band) fitted two years ago and during that time she has lost five stones
and has dropped five dress sizes. She follows on the heels of Anne Diamond, Sharon
Osbourne and the footballer Diego Maradona who have all had gastric bands fitted.
Also,
the opera singer Deborah Voigt who has had weight loss
surgery after being “sacked” from the Royal Opera House for being
to fat and Channel 4 Shameless star Tina Malone who plays “Mimi”,
who has had a gastric balloon inserted.
