We run the NOSC Balloon Programme throughout the UK and beyond, so wherever you live, the National Obesity Surgery Centre can provide you with an excellent service, both during and following your gastric balloon procedure. Although based in the North West of England, the National Obesity Surgery Centre has several surgery locations throughout the UK and treats patients world-wide. Due to the nature of the gastric balloon procedure, we can effectively monitor our patients based in any location - including outside the UK. We have extensive experience in providing the NOSC Balloon Programme™ to overseas patients, including our dedicated aftercare and advice service. We receive many enquiries and patients from outside the UK.

Advice and support for patients with existing gastric balloons
Another area where the National Obesity Surgery Centre excel is helping patients with existing gastric balloons. Due to the lack of aftercare support that some people have unfortunately received after having a gastric balloon fitted elsewhere, we often receive phone calls asking for advice and help. The volume of enquires of this nature we receive prompted us to set up a formal service for those patients who have been unfortunate in picking a company who does not provide the same help and support provided by the National Obesity Surgery Centre.

Membership for Doctors and Consultants
The National Obesity Surgery Centre offer membership to doctors and medical practitioners in order to allow the fast tracking of their patients waiting for an NHS gastric balloon to be fitted. We currently have over 700 NHS Consultants and doctors who have joined our free programme. There are huge benefits to be gained from NOSC membership for both practitioners and their patients who require an NHS Gastric Balloon.
