Mr Gareth Hewitt MB, BCh, BAO, FRCS (I), FRCS (Ed) (Gen)
Mr Hewitt is a Consultant General and Gastrointestinal Surgeon. He was appointed to his current NHS post in Craigavon Area Hospital in 1999. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He is a member of the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
His main interests are upper/lower Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and colo-rectal surgery. He has worked in Hillsborough Private Clinic since it opened in 2002. His bariatric speciality is insertion of the Gastric Balloon.
